I think if a studio exec says they want to force you to starve to death so you’ll be made to accept garbage wages, you should crush them in a hydraulic press incredibly slowly
Like the fact that rich people have gotten to the point where they think they can just be like “oh yeah I’m literally trying to kill you” without fear of repercussions is beyond infuriating. They need to know what it feels like to be beaten to death by hammers.
Running a bit behind, but was finally able to put together a piece for our newest Steeplechase layer, Old Kidedelphia! With such attractions as: bloodthirsty animatronic chimaeras, and scores of children left to Lord of the Flies themselves after being abandoned by both their parental guardians and Steeplechase itself!
VERY excited about these new romance novel cover prints I’ll have at Flamecon table K119!! Hard to capture in photos, but they’re on a really nice pearl linen shimmer heavy stock, so they’ve got a little texture and a fun silvery shimmer to them.
Can you BELIEVE these “”“just weren’t the right tone”“”“ for the GN series covers*, I don’t see the problem, the main trio are CLEARLY visible on every cover,,,

*as always, this is a joke!! I made these as a special treat for me to stay sane during the actual GN cover process, nobody else ever got to see them to reject them; the entire GN team and the entire team at :01 are incredibly powerful & I feel very lucky to get to work with them!!

Tips and tricks on how to survive being working class.
I’ve seen this kind of thing before and a lot of them are full of random weird shit you’d never make…because of time constraints or like, it just sounds super gross.
But this one had a whole section that’s just “Things on Toast”. Another that was all about putting crap in your oatmeal to make it better. Those are fairly pedestrian and don’t take forever.
I haven’t looked through the whole thing yet but so far it’s actually pretty practical. Also if you’re broke like me and don’t know how to make Dal, you should get on that.
I also liked that there’s this at the beginning:
